Short Information

Cosmopolitan was created by Canadians, who found themselves, disenfranchised by the apparent elitist politics of existing Canadian federal political parties.

The majority of Canadians do not appear to be adequately represented by the current Canadian federal political party structure.

'Cosmopolitan' as a word, refers to a socially inclusive, mixed, progressive, diverse and cross-cultural-oriented community. A cosmopolitan community is institutionally based upon alleviating feudalistic bigotries, including racism, which undermines a mutualized high quality of human survival.

Cosmopolitanism supports a people-oriented quality-of-living attainment focus, by government, toward citizen participants as joint owners of the society, with fundamental human rights. These human rights include assurance, by government in a democratic society to promote a high quality-of-survival sustaining environmental stewardship, that is linked to overall social justice.
